The strength of any organization comes from its people and Fugro SESL is no exception.
Survey Crews
At any time, Fugro SESL may have approximately 18 crews operating in the field throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan. Crews are strategically based in both Provinces,
enabling us to respond quickly and efficiently to any request within these two Provinces with minimal mobilization costs.
Fugro SESL staff include field tested technologists, (normally, Party Chiefs are Technical College Graduates), experienced Project Managers and Professional Land
Surveyors (Alberta, Saskatchewan and Canada Commissions). Managers often have post graduate degrees (Masters level).
Crews are fully versed in the importance of maintaining good landowner relations and can be relied upon to capably handle any landowner related issue that they may
encounter.
Fugro SESL ensures that all field staff meet or exceed Provincial and Industry safety standards and are appropriately trained in First Aid, H2S, WHMIS, ATV and chainsaw
operations.
Office Support
Even the best field crew is only as good as it’s office support.
Every Fugro SESL field crew is in 24 hour per day contact with Fugro SESL’s office operation.
Field crews have direct access to all electronic drawings and other digital data via wireless internet, reducing costly delays in the transmission of vital data between
office and field.
Office operations utilize industry standard hardware and software, which are updated at regular intervals. These tools are used by experienced technical college
graduates.
Equipment
All crews are fully equipped with late model, heavy duty 4x4 trucks and two quads or snowmobiles as conditions dictate.
Survey vehicles are provided with Pipe Locating equipment, electronic total stations and Real Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS systems as well as all lesser survey gear.
Communications with the office, for both operational and safety issues, are maintained by cellular telephone, and wireless internet computer.
